Eric Usher is an ambitious, serial entrepreneur and business consultant. He currently serves as the CEO of Prophytes, the top social networking application for Greek fraternity and sorority members nationwide; and the vice president of development for Electric Republic, a leading independent film & management company.

Eric attended Clayton State University where he served as the first president of the Clayton State University chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. In addition to this, he acted in the theatre department and later used these experiences to advance his career. In 2005, Eric began his post-collegiate career in insurance management. His first venture was as a sub-agent for SBIK Insurance in Georgia where he later became the firm's top salesman, and was quickly promoted to sales trainer. After retaining full licensure as a life & health insurance agent, he was named partner within the firm.
In 2009, Eric launched an entertainment management firm known as Ush Productions-- an Event Planning and Production company. Eric oversaw numerous high profile celebrity events and entertainment ventures, honing his skills as a business consultant and marketing management leader.
In addition to his extensive background in sales and marketing, Eric has been certified through Peak Potentials as an international motivational speaker and trainer. He has channeled his passion for motivating others into a career as a published author with his first book, “Pledging For Success”. It depicts the lessons he learned as a member of a fraternal organization and how it applies in life and business.
Eric’s appetite for a challenge is unmatched as he even craves for one in his spare time. He enjoys mentally stimulating activities such as playing golf, chess, and solving puzzles. Spending time with family, friends, and trying new restaurants are some of the best things Eric likes about living in Atlanta, GA.
